When measuring for a ring that will be worn with other rings on the same finger, ensure there’s enough space for comfortable wear. Wider bands typically require a slightly larger size.
Find your perfect bangle size
Bring your thumb and little finger together and measure the circumference around the widest part of your hand. This will determine your bangle size.
Bangles should slide over the hand with slight resistance. Consider the style – solid bangles may need a larger size than flexible ones.
For stiff bangles without openings, you may need to go up a size. Hinged bangles can be more true to size as they open for easier wearing.
Find your perfect bracelet size
Measure your wrist circumference just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear a bracelet. Add the desired amount of ease for comfort.
Consider the bracelet style – chain bracelets can often be adjusted, while cuff bracelets need more precise sizing.
For bracelets with charms or pendants, add an extra 0.5-1cm to your measurement to account for the additional space needed for the decorations to hang properly.
Find your perfect necklace length
Measure a necklace you already own that falls where you want your new necklace to fall. Alternatively, use a string to simulate the length.
The perfect necklace length depends on your neck size, body type, and personal preference. These are general guidelines.
Consider your neckline when choosing necklace length. V-necks work well with pendants that follow the line of the neckline, while crew necks pair beautifully with chokers or princess-length necklaces.
