Q3. Write detailed answers of the following questions. (Answer any 2) 2×5=10

1 A cyclist weighing 55kg rides a bicycle of mass 5kg. He starts from rest and applies a force of 90N for 8 seconds. Then he continues at a constant speed for another 8 seconds. Calculate the total distance travelled by the cyclist.
Given:
Mass of cyclist = 55 kg
Mass of bicycle = 5 kg
Total mass (m) = 60 kg
Force (F) = 90 N
Time with acceleration (t₁) = 8 s
Time with constant speed (t₂) = 8 s
Initial velocity (vᵢ) = 0 m/s

Formulas needed:
F = ma → a = F/m
v = u + at
s = ut + ½at²
s = vt (for constant speed)
2 Define force. Give examples. Also write the types of forces.
3 A bullet of mass 15g is fired by the gun. If the velocity of the bullet is 150 m/s, what is its momentum?
Given:
Mass of bullet = 15 g = 0.015 kg
Velocity of bullet = 150 m/s

Formula:
Momentum (p) = mass × velocity
p = m × v
