Blood Relations Test Preparation
In this test, the success of a candidate depends upon his/her knowledge of blood relations, some of which are summarized below to help solve these tests.
🌟 Important Note: A relation on the mother’s side is called ‘maternal’ while that on the father’s side is called ‘paternal’. Thus, mother’s brother is ‘maternal uncle’ while father’s brother is ‘paternal uncle’.

Questions 1-10
Answer: (a) Son
If B is not A’s daughter, then B must be A’s son. Father-son relationship.
Answer: (a) Nephew
Waleed’s mother is sister of Imran as well. So, Waleed is nephew to Imran.
Answer: (b) Nephew
I to mother’s sister = Nephew. Since your brother is my mother’s brother, you are my mother’s sibling’s child, making you my cousin? Wait, let’s think: My mother is sister of your brother → Your brother is my uncle → You are my uncle’s sibling → Actually, I am your nephew.
Questions 11-20
Answer: (b) Brother
Only Son of grandfather = Father; Son of father = brother. So, the boy is Maria’s brother.

Answer: (d) E
D is father of A and grandfather of F. So, A is father of F. C is sister of F. So, C is daughter of A. Since there is only one mother, it is evident that E is the wife of A and hence the mother of C and F.
